ESTHER’S COMMENTS : This piece is special to me. Back in the day when I was in horseshoeing school at Reggie Kester’s in Ardmore, Oklahoma, we would prepare our horse's hoof, and then before we could put the shoe on Reggie would have to come by and check it to make sure it was perfect. If he liked what he saw, his words still ring in my ears - "nail it!"
