What's new at Esther Benedict Sculptures!
- Esther's work is currently on display at the SculptureWalk 2009 in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. She received a $500 award from the Sculpture Walk!!
Supplication - Currently in place at the U. S. Congress District Office in Sioux Falls, SD as part of the Sculpture Walk 2009.
The above photos show the Buffalo Horse being lifted and welded in place at the Sculpture Walk in Sioux Falls, SD on May 9, 2009.
- Elegant Spirit - This is last year's horse from the Sculpture Walk. He is currently residing at The Creamery at 4th & Main in downtown Sioux Falls in front of the Artist Playhouse, a local artist gallery.

- Esther traveled to Tubac the week of October 16 - 20, 2008, to deliver several sculptures to the gallery, and to do a talk and demonstration at Mirival Spa on October 18th. She then made a return visit to Tubac the first week in February, 2009, for another workshop demonstration.
 Two friends who came to visit while I was at the Karen Newby Gallery. This is a Gary Price sculpture of Einstein on a park bench.
- In October of 2008, Esther was invited to display her work at the Monte Wade Fine Arts Gallery in San Antonio, Texas.
- Esther relocated to her new home near Pipe Creek, Texas, and her gallery, which was under construction during 2008, is now up and running. She is hoping to have a grand opening sometime in 2009!
- Esther participated in a "patina class" at the Bity Mold Supply in Dallas, Texas, on March 27 - 28, 2009. Pictured below is Ron Young, the best patinist in the world. He has studied and done patinas for some of the great sculptors of the world. This was an exciting class with overwhelming great new information. New looks and patinas will be coming from Esther Benedict now.
